Trish Roberts
A printmaker of 20 years, my work often incorporates different aspects of the genre, from monotype to collagraph, often mixing two or more to achieve the final image. An art form developed through layers and textures, the possibilities are endless.
I like to respond to observations from life, often taking inspiration from the natural world, observing seasonal changes for instance, or making connections with man made structures.
I enjoy the challenge of learning new techniques which often lead to multimedia work, such as printed and stitched textiles or 3-D work.
I am a founder member and Treasurer of Print at the Park, a group of printmakers who, since their inception in 2009, have exhibited original prints in Berkshire and surrounding areas.
I have been Exhibitions Secretary for the Reading Guild of Artists since December 2020.
